About brown bears:
Brown bears are found across parts of Europe, Asia and North America, living in habitats ranging from forests and mountains to grasslands and Arctic tundra. They are highly adaptable omnivores, with diets that change according to the season and the food available.
Although brown bears are classified as Least Concern globally, this does not mean every population is secure. Some populations are small, isolated and highly threatened, particularly along the southern edges of the species’ range, making the protection of connected habitats especially important.
