Joshi, a silverback gorilla born at Howletts, is thriving in the wild alongside Loukelela and Bomassa, two orphaned gorillas we rescued in Congo after their parents were poached.
Eventually these three males will be released from our habituation island to full freedom.
In the meantime, they need extra food and medical care while they adjust to life in the wild.
