Howletts Wild Animal Park: a 90 acre adventure in beautiful ancient parkland in Kent that's an ideal day out for the entire family. Howletts is the Wild Animal Park with surprises around all corners. From glass fronted tiger enclosures offering a close encounter with the biggest of cats to gorillas, clouded leopards, monkeys, and hundreds of rare and endangered species from around the world. We're also home to the UK's largest herd of African elephants and the Black Rhino breeding sanctuary. For a close encounter like no other, Howletts Wild Animal Park allows you to walk alongside, and below, our free roaming family of amazingly agile and lively lemurs with Walking With Lemurs. Howletts also offer a new adventure for 2010, The Treetop Challenge. Port Lympne Wild Animal Park: nestled in the Kent countryside, offers an exciting day out filled with discovery for the entire family. Set in 600 acres, including the Port Lympne mansion and its 15 acre landscaped gardens, Port Lympne Wild Animal Park offers a treat for everyone. Along with our Siberian and Indian tigers, Barbary lions, small cats, monkeys and many other rare and endangered species, Port Lympne Wild Animal Park is home to the largest breeding herd of black rhinos outside of Africa. We're also home to the largest gorillarium in the world, "The Palace of the Apes", home to a family group of Gorillas fed at 12 noon and 3:00pm daily offering an un-paralleled view of this mightiest of apes.

At Port Lympne Wild Animal park we can now offer the ultimate safari experience. With the African Experience taking visitors across our open plains with giraffe, black rhino, wildebeest, zebra, ostrich, antelope and other wildlife roaming free, visitors could almost be on the grasslands of Africa. For the complete experience you can even stay overnight at our new Livingstone Safari Lodge and get the authentic African safari adventure.
